De-Clutter Mode (Default: ON)
BackTick helps you stay organized by automatically "rolling up" tabs.
- If a tab is in a Group, it is HIDDEN from the main list
- Instead, you see a single Group Card representing that group
- Benefit: If you have 50 tabs but they are sorted into 5 groups, BackTick only shows you ~5-10 items instead of 50 cluttering your screen
💡 Finding Hidden Tabs
Use Tab Mode (t + Space) to force show ALL individual tabs, ignoring De-Clutter settings.
The "Undo" Stack
BackTick tracks your group actions.
- If you accidentally "Ungroup" a folder, a Toast Notification appears at the bottom
- Press Ctrl + Z immediately to reverse the action
- The group structure is restored exactly as it was
The Sub-Menu System
When a Group is selected, press the Tab key to open the Context Menu:
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Focus Group | Brings the window containing this group to the front |
| Rename | Opens a prompt to change the group name |
| Set Color | Choose from 8 Chrome standard colors (Blue, Red, Purple, etc.) |
| Move to New Window | Takes the entire group and detaches it into a fresh window |
| Ungroup | Dissolves the group (tabs remain open, can be undone with Ctrl+Z) |
