Algorithm
| Mode | Behavior | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| MRU (Most Recently Used) | The default "Alt+Tab" behavior. The list is dynamic — the tab you just used is always #2. | Power users who switch frequently |
| Cyclic | The list is static, sorted by actual tab order in your window (Left → Right). | Users who rely on spatial memory of tab positions |
Extended Close (Alt + ~)
- Enabled: Allows closing tabs via the shortcut
- Disabled: Prevents accidental closures — suitable for kiosks or shared computers
Sticky Mode
- Enabled: Allows Shift + Alt + Q to toggle a persistent mode where the UI doesn't close when you release keys
- Use Case: Managing many tabs at once without the overlay closing
💡 Tip
Use Sticky Mode when you need to close multiple tabs or reorganize groups. The UI stays open until you press Escape.
